    Under LG's management philosophy, safety & health management system will be established in the three areas of Healthy, Beautiful, and Refreshing and improve it continuously with the aim of protecting the lives of all members and creating a safe environment.

    • Provide differentiated value to customers by providing safe products and services throughout the entire life cycle of business process, and protecting the lives of all members and creating a safe environment being the top management priority, promotes continuous improvement.

      Conduct regular inspections and diagnoses to reduce the risks of workplace and improve safety level.

    • Establish our own standards even stronger than safety & health laws and operate the safety and health verification system through certification process.

      Operate a practical safety & health education program and collect actively opinions from various stakeholders to prevent disasters and reflect them in safety & health goals.

      All members comply with the basic principles of safety & health system and create a safe culture that all members participate and improve itself.

    • Communicate with employees or representatives of workers at all times on the subject of safety and health.

      Laws and regulations related to safety and health must be observed and efforts shall be made to implement collective agreements related to safety and health.

    • Provide differentiated value to customers by operating a system that is eco-friendly and minimizes environmental load throughout the entire life cycle of business process.

      Establish a company-wide environmental management system and conduct regular inspections and diagnoses to create a pleasant working environment and to contribute to the continuous growth of the company.

      Comply with laws and regulations relevant environmental energy and establish our own standards one step ahead of the laws and improve them to a global level.

    • By actively supporting the green management improvement programs of partner companies and local communities, fulfill faithfully our corporate social responsibilities and transparently disclose relevant information to stakeholders.

Implementation and Management Structure

Our Environment and Safety organization is responsible for working-level ESH operations including the green company designation, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 while reviewing pending issues through the Enterprise Environment and Safety Committee and identifying alternatives.
