3Q YTD Sales and Profit Achieved Record High of All Times

- 3Q Sales 2.0tr won and Operating Profit 342bn won

October 26, 2021 – In 3Q 2021, LG H&H, Ltd. (CEO: Suk Cha) reported 2.0tr won in sales (-2.9% yoy) and 342bn won in operating profit (+4.5% yoy).

The deterioration of the business environment triggered by various adverse factors such as the spread of the Delta variant of COVID-19, global supply chain shocks, and price hikes of major raw materials made 3Q very difficult. Sales decreased slightly yoy due to loss of sales opportunities from the intensified logistics crisis ahead of major events such as Double Eleven in China and Black Friday in the US in the fourth quarter, but profitability improved as a result of mix improvement from luxury cosmetics and premium products. Operating profit has increased for sixty-six quarters since 1Q 2005 except for one quarter.

3Q YTD, sales increased 5.5% yoy to 6.1tn won and operating profit increased 8.7% to 1.0tn won delivering record-high sales and operating profit. The ‘Total Beauty’ business, Beauty combined with Daily Beauty, achieved 4.3tr won in sales, and 841bn won in operating profit increasing 7.7% and 14.4% yoy, respectively.
