■LG H&H, winner of the “Best Managed Company” award for the third consecutive year

Asiamoney, Asia’s leading financial magazine, announced on December 21 that LG H&H CEO Suk Cha was designated the “2010 Best Executive in Korea,” making him the winner of the award for a second consecutive year.

The magazine reported that Mr. Cha was selected because he consolidated the company’s core competence by adding new businesses while managing to generate momentum for steady growth in existing businesses, providing shareholders with differentiated value.

Meanwhile, for the third year in a row, LG H&H was awarded the “Best-Managed Company in Korea” in the Mid-Cap Corporate category. This was announced simultaneously with the 2010 Best Korean CEO award.

Asia’s leading financial magazine, Hong Kong based Asiamoney is the sister publication of the British monthly Euromoney.

The awards are based on a survey of senior executives of fund management companies and hedge funds, managers of securities companies, and analysts across different regions including Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
