October 23, 2018 – In 3Q 2018, LG Household & Health Care, Ltd. (CEO: Suk Cha) delivered the highest 3Q results. The Company reported 1.7tr won in sales (+10.6% yoy) and 278bn won in operating profit (+9.8% yoy) and recurring profit increased to 271bn won (+10.2% yoy).
Sales has increased for fifty-two quarters since 3Q 2005, and operating profit has increased for fifty-four quarters since 1Q 2005, delivering continuous growth for fourteen years. Debt-to-Equity ratio (September-end) improved by 7.6%p to 48.6% from increased cash flow from profit growth.
Luxury cosmetic brands, ‘Whoo’, ‘su:m’, ‘O HUI’, ‘belif’, etc., led the growth of Beautiful business in both the domestic and overseas market. Healthy continued restructuring to improve business competitiveness and Refreshing achieved balanced sales growth in both carbonated and non-carbonated drinks while expanding category portfolio with the launch of new brands.
3Q YTD sales increased 9.3% yoy to 5.5tr won, and operating profit increased 11.2% yoy to 828bn won.
