LG H&H, in collaboration with the Beautiful Store, held the “Beautiful Saturday Together with LG H&H” event on September 9.

“Beautiful Saturday” is a social contribution activity held on a particular Saturday in which goods donated by employees are sold at the Beautiful Store and proceeds are donated to society. Employees also volunteer as salespersons for the day at Beautiful Store outlets.

The event was held simultaneously at four Beautiful Store outlets in Seoul, Daejeon, Ulsan and Cheongju where the LG H&H headquarters, research center and factories are located. About 80 employees volunteered to help with the event.

For this “Beautiful Saturday” event, LG H&H donated about 15,000 items, including 10,000 articles of clothing and home appliances donated by employees and 5,000 household products worth 20 million won, such as detergent and toothpaste, provided by the company.

LG H&H holds Beautiful Saturday every year. In addition, the company also focuses on dedicated social contribution activities, such as the Happy Smile Fund for the health of single moms, Perioe Kids School for children’s dental health and household product support for flood victims and persons with handicaps.
