¢Ã LG H&H will open Whoo Spa Palace, a premium aesthetic salon based on the Oriental medicine of the royal court, in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul on March 13.

¢Ã Whoo Spa Palace is a premium skincare boutique named after Whoo, a royal court Oriental medicine-based brand sold at department stores and through direct sales. At Whoo Spa Palace, the company plans to use Whoo and OHUI products and provide unique royal court Oriental medicine-based premium skincare services not available elsewhere.

¢Ã The word ¡°spa¡± comes from the name of a resort town in Belgium famous for its hot springs. However, it has become a common term describing premium skincare facilities, and a focus of the trend of ¡°well-being,¡± or keeping both body and mind beautiful. Particularly among renowned foreign cosmetic brands, such high-end aesthetic salons are gaining great popularity among female customers.

¢Ã Soo-jung Park, manager of LG H&H¡¯s Whoo Spa Palace, said, ¡°The royal court Oriental medicine-based spa offered by LG is a very luxurious and unique service, and the first of its kind in Korea. We are now able to provide more exclusive and satisfying skincare services to Whoo and OHUI customers.¡±

¢Ã Whoo Spa Palace has ten exclusive skincare rooms and a finely furnished spa room in a space spanning about 200 pyeong. It also has a cultural space for small group lectures and gatherings. For the convenience of customers, a make-up lounge and a spa restaurant are also offered. Customers are attended to by top-notch skincare specialists.

¢Ã A main feature of Whoo Spa Palace is hand technique-focused programs that do not use aesthetic devices at all. In addition, more than twenty different exclusive and prestigious skincare programs for the face and body are offered using royal court Oriental medicine remedies, such as herbal packs using Oriental medicinal ingredients and powder massages using Gongjindan, an Oriental medicine formula.

¢Ã Hongyun, the Whoo facial program for a translucent complexion, is a premium Oriental medicine massage that stimulates lymphatic circulation through a Gongjindan cream and pack for the restoration of the skin. The program lasts 100 minutes and is available for about 150,000 won.

¢Ã Hwanyu, a program using Whoo Hwanyugo Cream (680,000 won), which is a recently introduced luxury cream, is the finest Oriental medicine-based skincare program for relaxing a tired body and mind. It consists of skincare programs exclusive to royal courts, including a full-body herbal water spa, a facial massage for stimulating acupressure points and an herbal body wrap. The program lasts 270 minutes and is available for about 500,000 won.

¢Ã In addition, around twenty kinds of premium spas and massages including facials using Oriental medicinal plants, full-body meridian treatments practiced in royal courts, foot massages and hand massages are available for 80,000-500,000 won.

¢Ã Whoo Spa Palace will also be used as a high-end cultural space by regularly offering lectures on various topics, including tea ceremonies and yoga, to VIP customers. In addition, VIP customers of Whoo and OHUI will be presented with aesthetic gift certificates in various amounts to allow them to experience premium services free of charge. Any woman who would like to treat herself to refined spa services may also access the services by paying certain service charges.
