New Make-up Line Featuring a French Sensibility! O£¦L (Ombres £¦ Lumieres) Launched

LG H&H launched O&L, a new make-up line featuring a French sensibility, and began to strengthen its presence in the department store color make-up market.

LG H&H deemed it necessary to build up OHUI¡¯s color make-up line in the department store color make-up market, which is growing sharply. As part of a strategy to secure new competitiveness, it then decided to market the OHUI O&L line.

O&L stands for ombres and lumieres, which mean shadows and lights in French. This signifies that O&L will display the deep richness of French make-up and unique color qualities with a soft and translucent French touch not found in existing products. It implies that it will express the harmony of light and shadow in a French-style make-up.

In particular, O&L features the styles of France, a Mecca for fashion and make-up, in all of its product textures, colors and container designs. It suggests stylish cosmetic products that instill confidence in women in expressing their personal style.

In addition, CHRISTOPHER PELLET, a renowned French make-up artist, has been recruited as an advisory make-up artist for O&L. He will suggest the colors and trends for O&L and disseminate a diversity of French cosmetic know-how yet to be experienced by Korean women.

CHRISTOPHER PELLET plans to serve as a missionary of French make-up, including at make-up shows to be held at department stores across Korea as soon as O&L is launched.

The O&L line consists of about 60 products, including 20 eye make-up products, 20 lip make-up products and 20 base make-up products.

Foundation and compacts in the base make-up category feature an olive yellow shade that is closest to the skin color of Asians. Their key strength is the natural expression of skin¡¯s own color. Featuring a smooth texture along with outstanding coloration and adhesiveness, eye shadow products enable a sophisticated made-up look.

The burgundy wine-colored containers designed by a top design agency in France were inspired by lights and shadows reflected in semi-transparent containers. The contrast of squares and circles is eye-catching.
